Monkey Encounter

ABOUT MONKEY TOWN…

Before we enter Monkey Town, I would like to remind you, that beverages and food are NOT permitted in the area. You can dispose of them in the trash, or we have an area to store them while visiting Monkey town. On the way back, we will get them. 

Also, some safety precautions are: 

Monkeys DO NOT like to be petted by strangers, unless supervised by their handler, due to trust issues. This is because, every 6 months a veterinarian comes to vaccinate them with a shot, so if you try to grab them they will interpret it, as a vaccination. Please respect the animals in their habitat.

Please, avoid loud noises and camera flash, because the monkeys may get startled and act on their defense. 

The monkeys play, swing, and have a great time in the open. You can sometimes see the monkeys petting and grooming each other.
