ABOUT MONKEY TOWN…

Before we enter Monkey Town, I would like to remind you, that beverages and food are NOT permitted in the area. You can dispose of them in the trash, or we have an area to store them while visiting Monkey town. On the way back, we will get them.

Also, some safety precautions are:

Monkeys DO NOT like to be petted by strangers, unless supervised by their handler, due to trust issues. This is because, every 6 months a veterinarian comes to vaccinate them with a shot, so if you try to grab them they will interpret it, as a vaccination. If you would like to pet a monkey ask a trainer, and they would be glad to assist you.

Please, avoid loud noises and camera flash, because the monkeys may get startled and act on their defense.

It is completely normal for monkeys to wrap their tails around your neck. The tail helps the monkeys maintain its balance, and they are secure.  If one caresses or rubs itself on you, that’s a sign that it likes your perfume or sweat.
